Using PIPAD Password and ID Manager

Plug in PIPAD stick to almost any computer USB port

Your Temporary Password is 1234 - change it ASAP See Screens Below

Get Safe Online with PIPAD

Once the USB is plugged in this launch pad image appears :

Double click on the padlock line that is highlighted in blue

or click the OK button at the bottom of the launch pad image

This password and application manager will appear.

Click Keys and Passwords to start the Password Manager

Use the Temporary password 1234 to open the default password safe

One Good Quality Password supplied by You opens the password safe:

The password safe can be used to store Passwords, URL's, Links, Usernames / ID's, Bank Card Details, Pin numbers, small confidential files

The first time you start using PIPAD you need to set your own master password

One method of choosing a good password is to pick two or three words at random from a favourite book. Example: RomanAD79Manchester

The left pane shows categories, which can be used to organize your passwords.

The right pane shows the password entries for the currently selected category

In this example the email category is selected and highlighted - as an example we have entered the URL http://www.hotmail.com

Adding or editing password entries is simple and straight forward.

The important thing is that you do not even need to know the passwords because they are remembered for you, in the password safe.

There is a comments/notes box at the bottom where you can keep other informationrequired to be entered into forms, such as bank or card numbers or answers to validation questions that are often asked for

Simply use drag and drop to fill in web site log-in boxes

Hot keys can also be usedto copy and pastefrom the password safe to the log-in boxes

For other programs use copy to clip boardfollowed by paste
